Lead singer Tony Di Marti, 24 years experience in show business, and Tony Gagliano, keyboard and accordion player, 35 years experience in the music industry, make the Italian duo "Tony & Tony".

In 1997 the two artists joined their musical knowledge and talent and formed the duo, which by the day became increasingly popular, especially within the Italian community of Sydney. In a new era where the traditional 5 piece band is slowly going out of fashion, and is being replaced by technology, a one man band can be just a keyboard, incorporating all the imaginable sounds and rhythms. This gives the word "band" a whole new meaning.

This type of 'state-of-the-art' equipment, the various dance styles and rhythms, and the versatility of Tony & Tony are the keys to their success. Their songs, their performing style and entertaining skills are beyond compare, and their show is a must for anyone seeking to have a fun filled night, and dance their shoes off.

Their repertoire is immense and it ranges from the old classical Italian favourites to the latest hip-hop groove, techno, latin-american and top 40 music. As well as covers, the duo has a growing list of original material, which has proven very popular with their audiences.

The lead singer, Tony Di Marti, sings in English, Italian, Spanish and French. He truly has a gift and the ability to entertain and bring people together. His mastered voice and ability to read the crowd is unsurpassed. Maestro Tony Gagliano also harmonises and provides back up vocals.

So far, the duo has released 8 CD's which include a mixture of old favourites, some original material, and a few boppy, modern tunes. Often, by popular demand, their songs are given air play on the Italian radio which broadcasts nationally throughout Australia. In Sydney, Italian radio personality Paolo Rajo has branded them the 'Kings of Italian Dance Music', also known as "Ballo Liscio".

Today, the popular duo is highly sought after, with bookings coming from as far as North Queensland and Western Australia. In the year 2000 they were invited to take part in the 50th anniversary of Australia's Biggest Italian Festival in Silkwood, where they have since returned on many occasions.

In Sydney, they provide their musical services principally to the Italian Community. Every Italian club, association or social group that wants to organise a successful and fun filled function, books the duo well in advance to ensure their availability.
